Oh, thunderous stormy rain

Oh, murderous gloomy pain

Blows off the roofs with ease

Cuts off the lights with trees

Such an ambush of fright

In the darkness of the night

Oh, thunderous stormy rain

Oh, murderous gloomy pain

Harshly pulls the houses down

And cruelly cuts life at dawn

Mighty terror reigns supreme

And all hope drains downstream

Oh, thunderous stormy rain

Oh, murderous gloomy pain

Washes crops down the drain

All the hard labor gone in vain

Thus food and income all gone

Hearts are crest-fallen and torn

Oh, thunderous stormy rain

Oh, murderous gloomy pain

Sweeps the poor road aside

Only the virulent flood abide

Tosses cars along the tide

Sure to cut off the good ride

Oh, thunderous stormy rain

Oh, murderous gloomy pain

Fills tears in the now angry eyes

Body’s vengeful vigor simply dies

Poor mortal crumbles in torture

Crumples in face of cruel nature.
